All our sailing models and decoration subjects are original and made by us. Since 1986, our workshop has designed and manufactured only the “Port Miniature” nautical center in Saint Savinien.

The Foucaud family also developed a second structure in 1991 to market the “miniature port” concept. This company has thus reproduced a very simplified version of a few models allowing standardized construction, using polyester shells and laser cutting of marine plywood. These two entities continued their way independently: on the one hand the artist – carpenter who flourished in the construction of new unique models, on the other the mass production.

The small boats of Saint Savinien therefore have cousins which sail in many lakes in France and around the world. But the miniature port of Saint Savinien has retained its unique character because, here, only the original ships of the marine carpenter sail. The artist counted neither his time nor his energy to bring each of his wooden models more and more details, and thus be faithful to the ships that inspire him: tugs, Mississippi steamers, sardine boat , cargo, ferry, trawler … The soul and charm of these original boats gives the Saint Savinien site a unique magic that has worked since 1987 on children and adults alike.
